The Florida Department of Health in
Marion County will commemorate National HIV Testing Day on Thursday, June 27,
by offering free HIV tests at three Marion County locations:
Florida Department of Health in
Marion County, 1801 SE 32nd Ave., Ocala, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.;
Parkside Garden Apartments Community
Center, 621 NW 2nd St., Ocala, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.;
Ramah Missionary Baptist Church,
10545 SE 58th Ave., Belleview, 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
The Health Department and Parkside
locations will provide the rapid HIV test, giving results in 15 minutes. Ramah
Church will offer an oral HIV test that provides results in two weeks.
The Florida Department of Health
offers HIV testing on an ongoing basis from 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., Mon.–Fri., at
the Ocala facility.
