The AllTogether Fest, a free gospel
and jazz concert commemorating National HIV Testing Day, will be held on
Friday, June 28, at 5:00 p.m. in Bienville Square, Mobile, Ala.
Musical groups will perform,
including Shiloh Missionary Baptist Hallelujah Choir, GAP, Henry Clay, Yvonne
Mathews, Malinda Leigh Dance Studio, Arnold, United Voices, Cotton Jazz Sax*
DJ, Clown Bk, Gentle Spirits, Wings Of Life Choir with Ms. Inez Spencer,
Gabriel Ezell, Living Word, and Shaulanda Norwood, plus many more groups.
The Walgreen at the Loop, 2050
Government Street, will offer free, confidential HIV testing on June 27–28 from
3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and on June 29 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The Mobile County Health Department
and other groups have partnered with a coalition of public and private sector
groups known as Greater Than AIDS and with the Walgreens pharmacy chain to
provide the free testing.
