The White House LGBT Conference on HIV/AIDS is coming to Atlanta’s Morehouse School of Medicine on April 19.
The White House Office of Public Engagement and the Office of National AIDS Policy are working with Morehouse to stage the daylong event, at which advocates, community leaders and members of the public will have the opportunity to engage with the Obama administration on issues regarding HIV/AIDS’ impact on the LGBT community.
Senior officials from the White House and key departments will lead the meeting, which will include a specific focus on the National HIV/AIDS Strategy. Participants will be able to connect with federal resources, take part in workshops, and provide feedback.
