Peter Fox, a singer/songwriter and HIV/AIDS advocate, died January 2 of central nervous system lymphoma, the Washington Blade reports. He was 45.
Fox was membership director for the American Academy of HIV Medicine. He sang at the 2010 AIDS Walk in Washington, DC, and performed at corporate and LGBT events. His debut album was released in 2010.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial gifts be made to the Icla Da Silva Foundation, a bone marrow recruiter for the National Marrow Registry.
