Bonnie Goldman, the former editorial director of The Body, died December 31 of breast cancer, The Body reports. She was 55.
Goldman worked with The Body, a resource for HIV/AIDS information, from its founding in 1995 through January 2010. In her final blog post, she credited the death of her brother from AIDS-related complications and her role as his caretaker as her motivation to help launch The Body. Previous to her tenure at The Body, Goldman was a journalist and a book editor.
