Pablo Colon, an HIV/AIDS activist and a staff member of Iris House, died on December 30, according to an Iris House statement. He was 49.
Since 2007, Colon was a member of the outreach and prevention program at Iris House, a center for women living with HIV/AIDS in New York City. Staff members remember Colon for his passion and commitment in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Funeral services were held on January 4.
