DeGeneres will raise awareness about the global fight against AIDS and support the new U.S. plan for an AIDS-free generation.

The Ellen DeGeneres Show reaches millions of people every day, and DeGeneres herself has 8 million Twitter followers and almost 6 million Facebook fans. “I’m honored to have been chosen,” DeGeneres said. “The fight against AIDS is something that has always been close to my heart, and I’m happy that I can use my platform to educate people and spread hope.”
