Men who have sex with men will be the special focus of the National Minority AIDS Council’s US Conference on AIDS, Nov. 10-13 in Chicago.
Recent CDC data demonstrate “the devastating impact this epidemic continues to have on gay and bisexual men, especially gay men of color,” said Daniel C. Montoya, deputy executive director of NMAC.
David Furnish, chair of the Elton John AIDS Foundation and John’s partner, will give the keynote address.
Joining Furnish at the special opening plenary on MSM will be CNN anchor Don Lemon, Arizona state Sen. Jack Jackson and former “Project Runway” contestant Mondo Guerra. More than 3,000 people are expected to take part in the conference.
