On May 11, the Bob and Renee Parsons
Foundation surprised supporters of Phoenix’s Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS with
the announcement of a $3 million contribution for the center’s capital
campaign.
The gift will ensure that
construction on the new 50,000-square-foot Center for Health, Education, and
Wellness will be completed on time. The facility will provide integrated
HIV/AIDS care and support services as well as classroom space for education
programs and will be named after the Parsons Foundation.
The Friends of AIDS Foundation is
dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for HIV positive individuals and
empowering people to make healthy choices to prevent the spread of the HIV
virus. To learn more about The Friends of AIDS Foundation, please visit: http://www.friendsofaids.org.
