Free Health Conference in Detroit to Offer HIV/AIDS Info


In response to Michigan’s current HIV/AIDS statistics, the African American AIDS Advisory Committee, the Michigan HIV/AIDS Council, the Oakland University School of Nursing, and the Man Alive Planning Group will offer a free conference May 18 targeted for young men and those who love them from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Riverview Hospital, 7733 E. Jefferson, in Detroit.

Conference offerings will include informative workshops and presentations and free HIV and STD testing. Representatives will be available to answer questions and assist attendees with access to local resources.
