Broward County Health Department Offers HIV/AIDS 101 Training

The Broward County Health Department is offering a four-hour HIV/AIDS 101 Training Class for the general public and professionals whose certifications require HIV/AIDS training.

The class provides the fundamentals of HIV/AIDS, including the latest information on medicines, research, and comprehensive prevention. It also offers information on local, regional and national statistics, as well as evidence-based interventions. There is a $20 fee for those needing certification; attendance is free on a first-come, first-served basis for those not seeking certification. Participants are encouraged to register early.
