This Wednesday, July 21, the Senate Transportation, Housing, and Urban Development (T-HUD) Appropriations Subcommittee is scheduled to mark up its Fiscal Year (FY) 2011 spending bill. The bill will propose funding levels for HOPWA and support for the other HUD housing programs like the Housing Choice Vouchers, Section 811 Supportive Housing for Persons with Disabilities and the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Grants program. This Is Your Last Chance To Express Your Support For Increased Funding For HOPWA and Other Homeless Programs!

*If your Senator sits on the T-HUD Subcommittee (see below for a complete list), CALL the housing staffer TODAY at: (202) 224-3121 and urge your Senator to re-iterate her/his support to Chairwoman Murray and Ranking Member Bond for funding HOPWA at $410 million in the FY 2011 bill and $2.4 billion for McKinney-Vento homeless program in FY 2011 .
