Ashtabula County Salvation Army Hosts Free HIV Testing


The Lake County Health District in Ohio is offering free HIV testing for its residents on April 18 at the Salvation Army in Ashtabula County, located at 3527 Lake Avenue.

Oral testing consists of taking a swab of the mouth, with results available in approximately 20 minutes. Participants will receive a $10 gas card.

According to Lake County General Health District officials, approximately one in five individuals infected with HIV is not aware of their status.
