San Diego’s AIDS Walk and the San
Diego Human Dignity Foundation have created a matching grant program that will
allow local HIV/AIDS service organizations the opportunity to earn double
matching grants for this year’s event.
Each HIV/AIDS service organization
that registers an AIDS Walk team of at least 10 runners, walkers, or Street
Challenge participants will be eligible.
Participating organizations will
receive 85 percent of the funds they raise and teams that raise at least $2,500
will be eligible for matching funds from AIDS Walk up to $10,000 per team.
Additionally, teams raising at least
$2,500 will be eligible for matching funds up to $10,000 from San Diego Human
